As mental health clinicians at Kaiser Permanente, we do our best to help people survive the hardest moments of their lives.
For us, the most difficult moments are often when we first see a person suffering from a debilitating depression or the parent of a child with severe anxiety. Finally, they have reason to think things might get better — until we tell them that their next appointment won’t be for at least a month.
