Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health reported a year-over-year increase in revenue and operating income in the first six months of 2019, according to financial documents.
Annual rate increases and higher surgery volumes contributed to the 16-hospital system’s revenue growth. The health system recorded operating revenue of $3.22 billion in the six months ended June 30, up 3.9 percent from $3.01 billion in the same period of the year prior.
