A local partnership to help advance research and teaching skills for deaf and hard-of hearing postdoctoral students got a big boost with the National Institutes of Health awarding a $4 million grant to this initiative.
The funding goes to the Rochester Postdoc Partnership, which has served as a national model. Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals who have earned advanced degrees get career preparation in biomedical and behavioral sciences fields.
